Private tuition and practice
Instruction and practice are arranged for all types of shooters during all seasons of the year. Tuition and practice are normally organised on an individual basis, but small groups of 3 to 5 are encouraged.
Young shooters lessons
We specialise in young shooters lessons covering all aspects of either game or clay pigeon shooting. Gun safety is naturally of paramount importance. Again, individuals, pairs or groups are welcome. We also offer special courses during the school holidays. Please ask for details.
Gunfitting
We can provide a complete gunfitting service with the use of our pattern plates and try guns. We have side-by-side and over-and-under try guns.
Private parties, syndicates and groups
We can arrange full or half-day shoots, breakfast or evening shoots to suit any requirement. Past examples include charity shoots, product launches, conferences, seminars, car launches, social evenings, hotel weekend breaks, school matches, ladies days, pro-celebrity shoots, barbecues, office parties, school coaching, warm-ups for game shooting, stag parties and many more...
Guns for customers
We will provide either side-by-side or over-and-under guns for customer use, if required, at the ground.
Lady shooters
Women are specially catered for in both game and clay pigeon shooting. We offer smaller bore guns (20 bore), and recoil pads are always available.
Course of lessons
Offered are a course of 6 lessons and you pay for five and recieve the sixth free.These are particularly beneficial to anyone wishing to take up the sport. We also find that game shooters will benefit from a course before the start of the season.

For game shooters, clay shooting club members and for experienced and novice clay shots.
The masteclass consists of a four hour session of intensive coaching and is restricted to groups of at least six shooters. Participants can expect the Masterclass to improve their agility and help them to get more pleasure and satisfaction from their shooting. When booking clients are requested to make clear the current level of ability of the group.
A typical Masterclass timetable would be:-

Group instruction classes are designed for the ability of those taking part. The beginner, club shooter and experienced shot will benefit from these four hour classes. Included is advice, checks on gun fit, instruction, techniques, master eye and choke. Classes are booked for mornings or afternoons. Minimum of 5 people.
Group Practice
100 bird practice sessions are available for all disciplines.
Simulated Game Shooting
The day is exactly what is says and runs in the same way as a real shoot, with safety, etiquette and sporting birds being paramount. The guns assemble over a cup of coffee, the shoot captain explains the day and reminds the guns of the importance of safety. The draw for peg numbers takes place and the guns depart either in shoot vehicles or on foot.
During the morning the guns experience the thrill of driven game shooting in various drives, to include simulated pheasants and partridges.
Refreshments will be served in the time honoured way during the morning. A traditional shooting lunch is served and further drives take place in the afternoon.
Numbers: normally 8 or 16 people. Half days available.
The Shooting Lodge
Our comfortable lodge has been designed to accommodate our business and private clients. We can seat up to 50 people in comfort, or cater for 80 people buffett style.
